The funding program is now set up, the application is configured, and review criteria are in place.
You’re now ready to publish the program and make it available to applicants. If the application process is closed (invite only), this is also the step in which you’ll select your applicants.
Important: Once you publish, no more changes can be made to any fields in any prior steps, including all funding program details, team members, dates, etc. So be sure that all details are correct before proceeding!
The first step is to publish. By clicking Publish you are confirming that all application information is correct and cannot be changed, and that you accept responsibility for its release.
After publishing, you’ll be presented with a SurePact-hosted funding opportunity URL, along with a Copy button.
If the funding program selection method is Open, this URL is where applicants will be directed to apply. Applicants will need to register with SurePact (for free) to access the opportunity.
Note: Anyone applying for an open funding opportunity will need to register for SurePact to apply using the Application Portal. Applicants who choose to subscribe to SurePact Premium can also apply for the opportunity, and can also take advantage of a more robust applicant experience, including modules for grants, projects, contracts, and portfolios, in addition to opportunities.
If the selection process is Closed, click in the Select Recipients field.
The list that opens includes any recipients configured by your admin, as well as any recipients who are already registered in SurePact from a previous funding program. Choose the recipients you want to apply, then click Send.
Invited applicants can be seen by expanding the Recipients Requested list.
Note: If, after you click Send, you want to invite one or more additional recipients / organisations, just be sure to send out all invitations before the application close date.
Once the funding program has been broadcast, or invitations sent out, applicants will begin completing and submitting their applications.
As applications come in, the next stage is Review & Approve by the Assessment Panel.
