[Application Round(s) Setup](https://support.surepact.com/funding-programs-for-grantmakers?hsLang=en#application-rounds-setup) # Application Round: Publish & Send The funding program is now set up, the application is configured, and review criteria are in place.   You’re now ready to publish the program and make the opportunity available to applicants.  If the application process is closed (invite only), this is also the step in which you’ll select your applicants.  **Important:** 1. Once you publish, there are limited changes that can be made to Program and Application Round fields, so be sure that all details are correct before proceeding! 2. On Publish, the Funding Opportunity is made visible to applicants who have registered to use SurePact' Application Portal. A notification email is also sent to all registered applicants of the opportunity you have published.   The first step is to publish. By clicking **Publish** you are confirming that all application information is correct and cannot be changed, and that you accept responsibility for its release.  ![Picture](https://support.surepact.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-May-30-2025-07-54-41-5876-PM.png?width=670&height=342&name=undefined-May-30-2025-07-54-41-5876-PM.png)   After publishing, you’ll be presented with a SurePact-hosted funding opportunity URL, along with a **Copy** button.   ![Picture](https://support.surepact.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-May-30-2025-07-54-52-2257-PM.png?width=670&height=407&name=undefined-May-30-2025-07-54-52-2257-PM.png)   If the funding program selection method is **Open**, this URL is where applicants will be directed to apply. Applicants will need to register with SurePact (for free) to be notified of and access the opportunity.  **Note:** Anyone applying for an open funding opportunity will need to register for SurePact to apply using the Application Portal. Applicants who choose to subscribe to **SurePact Premium** can also apply for the opportunity, and can also take advantage of a more robust applicant experience, including modules for grants, projects, contracts, and portfolios, in addition to opportunities.    If the selection process is **Closed**, click in the **Select Recipients** field.   ![Picture](https://support.surepact.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-May-30-2025-07-55-05-0822-PM.png?width=670&height=393&name=undefined-May-30-2025-07-55-05-0822-PM.png)   The list that opens includes any recipients configured by your admin, as well as any recipients who are already registered in SurePact from a previous funding program.
