The funding agreement created for each applicant by the Program Manager is then sent to team members with Approver role. Roles are assigned when creating the funding program.
Note: Unlike with applications and Assessment Panel approval, in which all Assessment Panel members must weigh in, only one approval is required for this step. If there are multiple team members with Approver role, approval can be completed by any approver.
There are several ways an approver can access this task:
- When a funding agreement approval is requested, you will receive an email notification. Click the link in the email to go straight to the approval stage in your SurePact account.
- When a funding agreement is requested, the relevant task will be listed in your Dashboard.
- Open your Funding Programs summary and double-click the funding opportunity.
The current stage will be Funding Agreement, and applicants with a funding agreement created by the Program Manager will have Pending Approval status.
To complete the approval for an applicant whose approval is pending, click the organisation’s Action icon.
Look over the agreement and check all fields. If all looks good, scroll back to the top and enter a comment for the Program Manager, and tick Approve.
Note: If you click Reject, the funding agreement will be assigned back to the Program Manager for revision.
Then click Submit Approval / Rejection.
This updates the status to Approved, adds the approval date, and updates the counters above the table.
Upon approval, the applicant is emailed with the news that their funding agreement is ready for them to sign.
Once that formality is complete, the next stage of the funding program workflow is Deliverables & Disbursement.
