What is a Funding Opportunity?

After a funding body sets up a funding program, the funding opportunity is created as a way for potential recipients to access and apply for program funds

For example, a funding body called “Town Council” creates a funding program called “Improve our Playgrounds.” The opportunity for this program is sent or broadcast to potential recipients, and is how these recipients and / or organisations can access the program.

A funding opportunity is configured to include application type, project start and end dates, one or more application rounds, application template and review criteria, and dates for application submission, review and notification.

Once signed into your SurePact account, your available opportunities are listed on the Funding Opportunities page.
