What is a Funding Opportunity? 

After a funding body sets up a funding program, the funding opportunity is created as a way for potential recipients to access and apply for program funds. 

For example, a funding body called “Town Council” creates a funding program called “Improve our Playgrounds.” The opportunity for this program is sent or broadcast to potential recipients, and recipients and / or organisations can access the program details via the SurePact-created link.  

A funding opportunity is configured to include useful application information like application open and close dates, selection process, total funding available, contact person, eligibility criteria and more.
